Yesterday, one of our Facebook page friends had a problem with her mouse not working on a Windows 7 OS. Here are bits of the conversation and how her problem was solved (restored the original mouse settings). (Note: I'm not really well-versed when it comes to translation. I'll omit some phrases/sentences as well to make the process understandable.)
Friend:May I ask where can I change the shortcuts for the keyboard and mouse?

Me:Shortcut? Like when you press "K", it shows up with "L"?

Me:For what program specifically?
awwp.. hehe. sa unsa nga program?
Friend:The problem is that the right-click function of my mouse doesn't seem to work anymore. My brother/sister might have done something to cause this. I also can't scroll down and up.

|Type in "mouse" on the search bar.|
Me:Can you see "Mouse", "Change how your mouse works", "Control the computer without the mouse and keyboard", etc. listed after typing "mouse" on the search bar?

Friend:Yes. I see them. Which one do I choose?

Me:Do you see the "Turn on Mouse Keys" checkbox? That should be unchecked.

|By default, your settings should be like this.|
Friend:Yes it's unchecked. It's OK now.
ok na kuya
Friend:Thank you so much.
You can also check on the "Move the pointer with the keypad using MouseKeys" (Make the keyboard easier to use) settings and see if all checkboxes are unchecked (except on the "Turn on Toggle Keys" sub-option) as shown below:
